This was truly an amazing experience for all of us! Winning this award was beyond our expectations, and the journey itself was incredibly rewarding.
From the very beginning—brainstorming ideas, choosing the project, and implementing it—every step was filled with excitement and teamwork. Each team member played their role exceptionally well, and it was inspiring to see our collective efforts come to life.
More than just winning, this was a huge learning experience for us. The challenges we faced pushed us to think creatively, collaborate effectively, and grow together as a team.
A big thank you to PayPay for organizing this fantastic event and giving us this incredible opportunity. This achievement motivates us to keep innovating, learning, and pushing our limits!

"We were all extremely excited and grateful to receive this honor! It meant a TON to us to win this award, especially because we had the impossible task of building a working front-end AI experience, with no front-end engineers!
The inspiration for the idea came from a genuine interest in how to use the PayPay app's many features to their fullest. This information didn't exist, so we decided it was up to us to build it! Many of the ideas in the Hackathon were on shiny new things, but we knew there was great value in maximizing the utilization of all the great things we already had! It's hard to name a single app that clearly explains everything in friendly, easy-to-understand language. We want to be the industry leaders in this regard!
The biggest challenges in development were that (on paper) we didn't have "the right" dev modules/skill sets to complete this work. That didn't matter though, because the team got way outside of its comfort zones, stepped up to the challenges, and took-on work outside of our areas of expertise. We weren't sure if we could finish everything on time, but everyone banded together and made it work! Finally, we knew a strong presentation would set us
apart from the crowd, so we focused hard on this, and gave ourselves plenty of extra time, just in case anything went wrong.
It felt great to deliver our speech slowly (for improved comprehension, and to make life easier for the interpreters), and also to complete our presentation in the shortest time of any team. There were many teams competing, and all too often, folks go over the 3 minute limit. We made sure this wouldn't happen to us, as we consistently completed our practice runs in 1:48. We didn't know if we could win, but we did feel confident we could deliver the most cpativating presentation!
Thanks again for this honor! We hope we will be given the opportunity to build this functionality within the PayPay app soon!

I'm honored to receive the Generative AI Hack Award. The moment I heard my team name announced as the winner was truly exhilarating.
My project focused on creating a goal-based savings system, inspired by my personal approach to financial management and the tradition of making wishes at temples. I developed a feature called "As You Wish" that transforms abstract wishes into concrete financial goals with fraction saving plan.
The technical challenge lay in implementing efficient data transfer using an agentic approach within large language models. Despite these challenges, I successfully delivered the core functionalities. The project aims to motivate users by making their savings goals tangible and actionable.
This Hackathon provided valuable learning experiences and a platform to share my vision. I'm grateful to the judges for recognizing my idea's potential in user motivation and business expansion.

Winning this hackathon as a solo participant has been an incredible experience! At first, I thought my idea was too simple and even considered not participating. But now, looking back, I’m so glad that I did. Sometimes, the simplest ideas have the biggest impact, and this hackathon gave me the perfect opportunity to turn a small thought into a fully functional feature.
My goal was to make group bill splitting effortless by introducing a One Tap feature, allowing users to instantly join a Group Bill with just a simple tap. No need for QR scanning, link sharing or manually searching Friends from the contact list, just a seamless, intuitive experience that removes friction and makes the feature even smoother.
As a solo participant, bringing this idea to life in such a short time was both challenging and rewarding. From refining the concept to implementing a working prototype, I had to make every decision on my own, which was a great learning experience. Hackathons push us to think fast, build creatively, and solve real-world problems, and this challenge truly helped me grow as a developer.
Now, I’m incredibly excited to see this feature make its way into the production app and be used by so many people in their daily lives. What started as a simple idea is now something that can improve the way users split bills, making it faster, more secure, and more intuitive.
A huge thank you to the organizers for fostering such an inspiring environment and to all the participants for their amazing innovations. To anyone considering joining a hackathon, just go for it! Even if your idea seems small at first, you never know where it might take you.

We're deeply grateful for this award, which empowered us to dream big and step out of our comfort zones.
Our team (a designer, FE and BE engineers) is incredibly proud to have developed a functional, physical prototype in just two days! Despite having no prior experience with Raspberry Pi and RFID technology, we eagerly embraced the challenge, combined our expertise, and most of all, enjoyed the process.
Hackathons fuel curiosity, spark action, and inspire exploration—a recipe for innovation.
