PayPay Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda, Tokyo, President and Representative Director CEO: Ichiro Nakayama) starts to introduce the mobile payment service “PayPay” at 101 outlets of MARUGAME SEIMEN on April 19 (Fri.), 2019. MARUGAME SEIMEN is a Sanuki udon noodle restaurant operated by Toridoll Japan Corporation (Headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo, President: Kazuki Onda). “PayPay” is the first domestic QR code payment service introduced at MARUGAME SEIMEN.
PayPay app users can make a payment by showing the barcode on the app at the cash register so that the store reads it, which is called “Store Scan” payment method.

A smartphone payment service by e-money (“PayPay Balance” or “Yahoo! Money”) and credit cards, depending on the user’s choice.
The service provides two payment methods- user scan (scan payment) method in which users read the QR code of a merchant store using the app and, store scan (code payment) method in which a member store reads the barcode or the QR code displayed by a user on the app at the store cash registers, chosen by the merchant store.
