PayPay Corporation (“PayPay Co.”), a joint venture established by SoftBank Corp. and Yahoo Japan Corporation, ends the “2nd 10 Billion Yen Campaign” at 11:59 p.m. on May 13, as the amount given has reached the upper limit of 10 billion yen on the said day. Started on February 12, the campaign offers a partial or full cashback per payment made with PayPay.
PayPay’s regular PayPay Bonus giveaway jumped to 3% of cashback from the previous 0.5% on May 8(*1). “Lottery with lots of Winning Chances (Yatara-to-ataru-kuji)”, a sub-campaign that features prizes, has gained popularity during the 2nd 10 Billion Yen Campaign. It will make a comeback on June 1 as “PayPay Chance”(*2) in an updated version. With PayPay Chance, users have a chance of winning PayPay Bonus worth up to 1,000 yen for once every 20 payments.
