PayPay Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “PayPay”), Yahoo Japan Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Yahoo! JAPAN”), and SoftBank Corp. are pleased to announce the launch of a major campaign “Cho PayPay Matsuri”, to be held between the 1st to 28th of March, 2021, where great deals will be available at all PayPay merchants throughout the country including online shops.
The previous “Cho PayPay Matsuri” was held in October & November 2020. The campaign was very well received with the additional PayPay Bonus granted for payments using “PayPay” at merchants throughout the country, online shops, and other services. The upcoming campaign will be just as exciting, with special offers on normal payments as well as for particular services provided within the “PayPay” app and by “Yahoo! Japan”.
During the campaign, PayPay will grant all users a 20% bonus worth up to 1,000 yen whenever they make a payment with “PayPay” at offline and online stores nationwide. Users using “PayPay” for the first time or who have not used PayPay over the last six months will be eligible to receive an even higher reward. Certain major chain stores and online stores will also be offering an additional PayPay Bonus based on the payment amount. Compared to the previous “Cho PayPay Matsuri”, the upcoming campaign will offer even better deals and convenience through “PayPay”.
Furthermore, Yahoo! JAPAN will provide special offers on PayPay Mall and Yahoo! JAPAN Shopping websites in addition to the campaigns above, during the period of the “Cho PayPay Matsuri” between the 1st to 28th of March, 2021. The details of individual campaigns will be announced on March 1.

Campaign details:
During the campaign period, users will receive a PayPay Bonus of up to 20% when making a payment with “PayPay” at participating stores. Smartphone users of “SoftBank” and “Y!mobile” will receive a PayPay Bonus of up to 30%. Users who are using “PayPay” for the first time or have not used “PayPay” in the past six months will receive an additional 20% PayPay Bonus!

It can also be used for sending and receiving money between PayPay users free of charge. PayPay can also be cashed out to a designated bank account (no withdrawal fee if using Japan Net Bank).
