With the launch of this mini app, PayPay users will be able to search for a “ChargeSPOT” stand, rent a battery, and complete the payment (*2) from the “Charge Phone” icon on the PayPay app. Normally, users would have to download the “ChargeSPOT” app and signup for an account to use the service, but now it has become much easier for users to rent mobile batteries.
<How to use the “ChargeSPOT” mini app on PayPay app>
To rent a battery:
Launch the PayPay app, tap the “Charge Phone” icon, and agree to the terms of use. Then, search for an available “ChargeSPOT” from the map in the app. After arriving at the location, tap on “Scan QR Code & Rent” in the app, scan the QR code displayed on the “ChargeSPOT” battery stand, and tap on “Rent”. Once the deposit (330 yen) is paid, the battery is ready for renting.

To return a battery:
Search for a “ChargeSPOT” available for returns, go to the location, and return the battery to a vacant stand. If the actual usage is less than the deposit (330 yen), the balance will be automatically returned to the user. If the usage exceeds the deposit (330 yen), users can complete the payment via a push notification or from the PayPay app.

■About “ChargeSPOT”, the No.1 mobile battery rental service in Japan in terms of number of installations (*), provided by INFORICH INC.
“ChargeSPOT” was launched as the first (*) mobile battery sharing service in Japan.
