The vouchers have a validity of up to 180 days after the donation is made, and can be used to pay for food, beverages, activities, lodging, and other services when visiting the municipality.

*1 PayPay Gift Vouchers can be used only in the municipalities that have introduced PayPay Gift Vouchers.

Donors can receive PayPay Gift Vouchers hassle-free and make payments at the municipality all on “PayPay,” eliminating the need to carry around paper vouchers and other thank you gifts. Since donations do not need to be made in advance and can be made and on the spot, the gift vouchers can easily be used when visiting the town for sightseeing or travel. Conventional thank you gifts that offer recreational activities or lodging are limited in their use, but when using PayPay Gift Vouchers, for example in Nikko City, they can be used at approximately 550 PayPay stores and facilities in the area, making them serviceable at a merchant of the user’s choice.

PayPay Gift Vouchers allow users to visit municipalities to which they donate and experience local attractions, in addition to revitalizing the local economy and contributing to tourism. It will be introduced in 30 or so municipalities by the end of this year, and will be available at more than 8,000 stores and facilities.
