PayPay Corporation is pleased to announce that more than 10 million people have used PayPay Stamp Card in just over a year since its launch*1 in December 2021.

PayPay Stamp Card is a feature available to merchants who subscribe to the PayPay My Store Lite Plan*2. If users pay with “PayPay” at merchants that issue stamp cards, they will automatically receive a stamp card, after which, users can also collect stamps automatically without having to present the card when making a payment. In addition, since stamps are automatically given after paying with the PayPay app, users no longer need to worry about forgetting to show their stamp cards or carrying them around, making for a more convenient and enjoyable shopping experience.
PayPay Stamp Card can also bring many benefits to merchants, such as increasing the number of repeat visits and reducing work at the register required for handling paper stamp cards. Thanks to this efficient and effective initiative targeting the 53 million “PayPay” users nationwide, the number of merchants issuing PayPay Stamp Cards continues to grow*3.
In conjunction with the rollout of PayPay Stamp Cards, PayPay has developed and patented a system that automatically adds a stamp to the stamp card issued by the merchant at the time of payment.
■ Voices of merchants who use PayPay Stamp Card
Hiroshige Aono, President and Representative Director, Hiday Hidaka Corp.
Hidakaya adopted PayPay Stamp Card in September 2022. Although we used to issue our own paper stamp cards, we had to do away with them due to operational challenges. However, after we introduced PayPay Stamp Card, 200,000 cards were issued in the first month, and now we have seen that figure grow to over 450,000 (as of November 2022). Furthermore, the average spend of our customers increased. While the average spend of a Hidakaya customer is around 750 yen, the average “PayPay” transaction amount for PayPay Stamp Card users is in the upper 1,200 yen range.
We decided to introduce PayPay Stamp Card as we believe that it is crucial to constantly provide new services to keep customers interested.
