“ZOZOTOWN Yahoo! Store” Newly Added to the List of “PayPay” Mini Apps!

- Users can smoothly search for fashion items and make payments on the PayPay app for a convenient and affordable shopping experience -

PayPay Corporation (hereinafter “PayPay”), LY Corporation (hereinafter “LY”), and ZOZO, Inc. (hereinafter “ZOZO”) will start offering a mini app*1 called “ZOZOTOWN Yahoo! Store” from October 12, 2023, which allows users to purchase fashion items sold at the e-commerce shop ZOZOTOWN Yahoo! Store*2 from within the “PayPay” cashless payment service app*3 .

*1. The official name of the ZOZOTOWN store on Yahoo! JAPAN Shopping is “ZOZOTOWN Yahoo! Store.”
*2. A “mini app” is a feature that allows users to smoothly make reservations, order products, and purchase services provided by PayPay Corporation’s partner companies from the PayPay app.
*3. Please use the latest version of the PayPay app.

“ZOZOTOWN Yahoo! Store,” which is on Yahoo! JAPAN Shopping, with daily great savings will grant up to 2%*4 of the purchase amount in points for “PayPay” payments, and the amount of points granted will increase with various other benefits such as “5% Every Day” (subject to a cap) and an additional 2% (subject to a cap) for Yahoo! JAPAN Premium Members*5 . In addition, “ZOZOTOWN Yahoo Store” offers 10% of PayPay Points on purchases of 3,000 yen or more, allowing users to boost their PayPay Points.

Furthermore, the “Honki no ZOZO Festival” (All Out ZOZO Festival) will be held at the “ZOZOTOWN Yahoo! Store” on October 15 only, where “PayPay” purchases will be granted up to 25%*7 of PayPay Points (entry required). PayPay Points worth up to 1,000 yen per person will be granted for each order of 3,000 yen or more. In addition, there will be 20,000 1,500 yen coupons distributed for purchases of 20,000 yen or more (limited to one coupon per person, on a first-come first-served basis).

By offering the “ZOZOTOWN Yahoo! Store” mini app on “PayPay” that allows PayPay users to shop for great deals, users can now smoothly search, browse, and purchase items from the PayPay app without having to go to another app or site, making for a convenient shopping experience. The ZOZOTOWN Yahoo! Store mini app displays personalized recommendations and brands for each user, along with images in an easy-to-understand manner. Users can also check outfit images and reviews, making it easy to find clothing, shoes, and other fashion items that match their preferences out of the trending and popular brands.

The PayPay app will continue to evolve as a super app that makes users’ lives richer and more convenient by providing not only payments, but also financial services such as asset management and insurance, and a wide range of mini apps for shopping, reservations for movie theaters, food delivery, and many more.

Going forward, PayPay, LY, and ZOZO will continue to leverage group synergies and combine their services to further pursue user convenience and accelerate the growth of each company.

* “PayPay” provides 4 types of PayPay balance: PayPay Money, PayPay Money Lite, PayPay Points, and Gift Vouchers. PayPay Money can be used to pay for partner services and merchants if it is within the amount deposited into the PayPay account opened after completing an identity verification process. It can also be used for sending and receiving money between PayPay users free of charge. PayPay Money can also be cashed out to a designated bank account (no withdrawal fee if using PayPay Bank). The legal nature of this is an electromagnetic record which can be used to pay for goods and services, can be remitted or cashed out, and is issued by PayPay who is a Fund Transfer Operator registered under Article 37 of the Payment Services Act. Based on the provisions of Article 43 of the Payment Services Act, PayPay protects the debt it owes to its users by depositing assets equivalent to or higher than the debt amount. PayPay Money Lite is an electronic money issued by PayPay, which can be purchased and used to pay for services and merchants. PayPay users can transfer and receive PayPay Money Lite free of charge. The legal nature of this is a prepaid payment instrument issued by PayPay (Article 3, Paragraph 1 of the Payment Services Act). Based on the provisions of Article 14 of the Payment Services Act, PayPay preserves the relevant assets for the purpose of protecting the owners of the prepaid payment instrument by providing a security deposit for issuance to the Legal Affairs Bureau in an amount that is half or more of the unused balance of prepaid instrument methods as of March 31 and September 30.
