PayPay Corporation (“PayPay Co.”, “we”, “our” or “us”), a joint venture established by SoftBank Corp. and Yahoo Japan Corporation, launches a time-limited campaign for users of its “PayPay” smartphone payment services to eat out at bargain prices on March 29, which marks the Premium “Cashless” Friday. The “March 29 PayPay Premium Friday!” campaign starts at 3 P.M. and ends at 6 P.M. on March 29.
This campaign offers users a PayPay bonus of up to 20%(*1) of their spending per payment by PayPay at membership restaurants. The bonus cap is 10,000 yen(*2).
The Premium “Cashless” Friday is the initiative led by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and member companies of the Commission for Promotion of Cashless Settlement in attempting to increase the recognition of cashless payments and expand the use of cashless payments. In support of the initiative, we. launch the “March 29 PayPay Premium Friday!” campaign for putting the Premium “Cashless” Friday in the limelight.
We continue to provide convenience of smartphone payments for all retailers, service providers and users, aiming to realize society where anyone can enjoy shopping without cash anywhere in Japan, while striving for our customers’ safe and secure use of PayPay.

Campaign Outline
Users, who pay by PayPay at membership restaurants during the campaign, will win a PayPay bonus of up to 20% of the price per payment. The bonus-offering rates by payment instrument are as follows:
20% for payments by PayPay balance or Yahoo! Money
19% for payments by Yahoo! JAPAN Card
10% for payments by credit cards other than Yahoo! JAPAN Card
In this campaign, the PayPay bonus cap is a total of 10,000 yen for one person, which is also the upper limit on the bonus that can be offered per payment.
If two or more PayPay campaigns, including the 2nd 10 Billion Yen Giveaway campaign, are applicable to a payment during the period of this campaign, only one campaign, whichever gives a better offering for the payment, is applied. Note that two or more campaigns cannot be applied to the same payment.

Bonus Day
PayPay bonuses for this campaign will be added to PayPay balance around April 20. The bonus day may be delayed due in part to user payments or reasons on the system side.
* In the use of PayPay, any violation of PayPay Terms of Service and the Terms of Service for the “March 29 PayPay Premium Friday!” campaign results in no payment eligible for this campaign.
