PayPay Corporation (“PayPay Corp.”, “we”), a joint venture of SoftBank Group Corp., SoftBank Corp., and Yahoo Japan Corporation will launch a Second Machikado PayPay campaign from December 1, 2019 through January 31, 2020.
The Machikado PayPay campaign is a unique campaign run by PayPay Corp. in relation to the Point Reward Project for Consumers using Cashless Payment (“Point Reward Project”) (*1) and aimed at encouraging users to enjoy shopping with advantages at stores that give reward points of 5% of a payment under the Point Reward Project (*2).
PayPay Corp. is currently running the First Machikado PayPay campaign (from October 1, 2019 through November 30, 2019) that gives an additional PayPay Bonus of 5% of a payment using PayPay at stores that give point rewards of 5% of a payment under the Point Reward Project. Moreover, we will launch the Second Machikado PayPay campaign under which, with a probability of once in 20 times, users get a PayPay Bonus worth up to 1,000 yen for a payment at stores that give point rewards of 5% of a payment under the Point Reward Project (*2).
When users win this campaign, they will be given the full amount of their payment for a purchase if the payment is 1,000 yen or less (*2) and at the same time will be given reward points of 5% of the payment under the Point Reward Project. Accordingly, the users will be given PayPay Bonuses whose amount is higher than the amount they paid and will be able to enjoy shopping with more advantages.
PayPay Corp. will continue to provide the convenience of smartphone payments to all retailers, service providers, and users, aiming to achieve a society where they can do cashless shopping anywhere in Japan.

■Details of the Second Machikado Pay Pay campaign
Campaign Period:
From midnight on December 1, 2019 until 11:59 p.m. on January 31, 2020
Target Stores:
Stores that are PayPay merchants subject to the Point Reward Project and that give point rewards of 5% of a payment.
(Targets stores place a poster with the PayPay logo as shown on the right.)
* Merchants that give reward points of 2% a payment are not subject to the campaign.
* Even during the campaign period, the campaign will begin to be applied from an effective date notified after the registration of a PayPay merchant to the Point Reward Project is completed.
Campaign Details:
Users who used PayPay to pay for a transaction eligible for the campaign at the target store during the campaign period will be given a PayPay Bonus worth up to 1,000 yen with a probability of once in 20 times as well as a PayPay Bonus of 5% of the payment. Please note that the PayPay Chance campaign, which is a lottery campaign that give users PayPay Bonuses and is scheduled to start from December 1, will be run as one campaign combined with the Second Machikado PayPay campaign.
* Transactions defined as non-eligible transactions in the Point Reward Project are not eligible for the campaign.
* Payments by credit cards (excluding Yahoo cards) are not eligible for the campaign.

Auction and a bonus amount given under the benefit program for use of the PayPay Bill Payment service (total payment amount 1,000,000 yen).
