
Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. (President & Group CEO: Masahiro Kihara; hereinafter “Mizuho FG”), PayPay Corporation (President & Representative Director: Ichiro Nakayama; hereinafter “PayPay”), and Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS Corp. (President & CEO: Yoshimitsu Goto; hereinafter “Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS”) are pleased to announce that they have concluded an agreement for the naming rights of Fukuoka Dome, the home stadium of Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS, and the new name will be MIZUHO PayPay Dome FUKUOKA(or “Mizuho PayPay Dome” for short) from Thursday, April 25, 2024. (see appendix).
This is the first joint naming rights agreement for a Nippon Professional Baseball team’s home stadium.

Mizuho FG and Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS have had a sponsorship agreement since 2008, and have worked together to help Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS achieve its goal of becoming the “World’s best entertainment company” through sponsored games, various events, and offering Mizuho Premium Seats.
PayPay and Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS have also concluded a team sponsorship agreement in 2019 and a naming rights agreement in 2020. Through the introduction of “PayPay” at Fukuoka PayPay Dome and surrounding facilities, including the entertainment complex BOSS E-ZO FUKUOKA, and various promotional campaigns, watching baseball live and shopping in the vicinity via cashless payments has become much more convenient and rewarding.
Going forward, Mizuho FG and PayPay will work as a team to further support Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS achieve its vision.
