LY Corporation (hereinafter “LY”) and PayPay Corporation (hereinafter “PayPay”) are pleased to announce that LINE Sukimani, a gig work service provided by LY that matches businesses’ employment demands with users’ spare time, will begin supporting PayPay Paycheck, the digital paycheck service provided by PayPay, starting today.
Gig workers using LINE Sukimani have expressed wishes to receive their salary even faster or use their wages immediately, highlighting the importance of shortening the time until payment and improving convenience for users. Against this backdrop, it was decided to offer this feature as a new option that enables a fast paycheck experience in as little as few minutes. Notably, LINE Sukimani is the first gig work service that has introduced PayPay Paycheck.

With this feature, users will be able to choose to receive their salaries in their PayPay accounts in addition to regular bank accounts. The payment will be reflected in as little as few minutes as PayPay Balance (PayPay Money (Paycheck)), eliminating the need to top up at ATMs, and it can be used for payments with the PayPay app.
For example, the wages can be used to for shopping on the way home after work, thereby providing a rapid and highly convenient user experience that could not be achieved through the traditional salary payment via bank transfers.
＜How to use＞
1) Select a job posting that supports PayPay Paycheck.
Apply to job postings in LINE Sukimani that have the label “Receivable with PayPay” in the job list and details screen.
2) Confirm payment after work
After work, the amount will be shown in the LINE Sukimani wallet.
3) Link with the PayPay app (first time only)
Link to PayPay from “Link PayPay Account” on My Page.
*Identity verification in the PayPay app and application to PayPay Paycheck are required.
4) Select method of receiving payment
When submitting the payment request, select “Receive with PayPay.”
5) Receive payment
The paycheck history can be viewed within the PayPay app.
For companies, when users select “Receive with PayPay,” the advance fees borne by the employer is waived (normally 180 yen, excluding tax), enabling cost cutting while simultaneously promoting themselves to various gig workers.
Many businesses, including retail (Ichigokan Co., Ltd.) and transportation/logistics (K.U.S. Logistics Support Co., Ltd.) companies, have decided to adopt the new feature. Moreover, the scope will continue to expand with a view to introduction across a broad range of industries and business types.
Additionally, for companies that have adopted PayPay Paycheck in this initiative, a limited-time campaign will be conducted under which the advance fees will be free regardless of whether the user selects bank transfer or “Receive with PayPay.”
